: The Black Pearl
So they were filming the Pirates of the Carribean 3 in Redondo Beach, where I grew up & It's about 1/2 hour away from Long Beach where I live now. Johnny Depp had signed autographs & word had it that he would be signing again on Monday night. On Mon am @ 5:30 am Ryan (my 10 year old) & I headed down to see what we could see. Ths ship set sail around 6-so we hung out for a bit, saw some pirate extras but no main characters except for the little person pirate. At 8:15 we bailed, Ryan was itching to go to Denny's of all places for a breakfast grilled cheese.
So we went back in the afternoon, but the signing was cancelled. they were alot of people there, and the ship was sailing back in to the harber, but they boat in the actors on small boats. Johhny & Orlando had already left earlier in the day, but here's what we saw. It was still fun, the boat was cool. We did see Geoffrey Rush leaving, someone yelled "Barbossa" & he waved. And Ryan's mohawk is being shaved today, school starts in a week.
